AEBC Announcement
Giving Tuesday is one of AEBC’s most successful fundraising events of the year. We are most grateful to those AEBC members who have donated in the past and hope you will support the campaign again on November 29. This year, we are asking that you go one step further, and ask your family and friends to also support AEBC in its advocacy and public awareness efforts. Tell them about how we are working along side other disability groups to bring about a comprehensive Canada Disability Benefit to address the unacceptable rate of poverty in the disability community. Tell them about how we are working to make the Accessible Canada Act as effective as possible.
Tell them how we offer support and training to your blind, deafblind and partially sighted peers and tell them about how we are redesigning our website to better tell our story.
Tell them that we are advocating for your access to goods and services they freely enjoy every day. Finally tell them we are making a difference in your life and we need their financial support on November 29. When you read our Giving Tuesday campaign message in about a month’s time, remind your family and friends about what you have told them and ask them to give to AEBC this Giving Tuesday.
